Grandma's House

Dawson and Carter love going to Grandma's house. The minute they get there they want to call Lorelei over to play! Here are some pictures from Grandma Carolyn's house. Dawson will be 7 in December. Carter will be 4 in January. Lorelei will be 2 in Feb. Time flies!

Hudson

We went biking down the Hudson River on Saturday along the west side of Manhattan. It was SO cool. Perfect day - 75 degrees, sunny and breezy. It's so neat down there - lots of piers to sit and relax on, basketball and tennis courts under the freeway that you would never know existed otherwise, old men laying out in speedos, trapeeze schools just set up along the side of the road, ping pong tables, batting cages, and a hoe-down/ square dance waiting for us at the end when we reached Battery Park. It was very eye-opening to see how Manhattanites recreate - under freeways, along the side of the road - but great to see that they take a lot of effort in making it available in the middle of such a busy place. Ryan and I just bought tickets to Utah for Christmas. We'll be there from the 17th to the 31st. So if anyone wants their hair done - let me know! Ryan also has decided our bed isn't good enough for him and he's getting a bad back from all his studying, so I catch him sleeping in his little cocoon on our living room floor when I wake up in the morning! By the way - all the wedding photos and pictures of Katie's school were great!!! It was so fun to see them!

On the job with Miss Eggertsen, who's students love her!

The walls are colorful! One student said she likes Miss Eggertsen's art projects, because she (the student) likes art, too.
