Back to Utah

Cash is looking forward to spending some more quality time with his Grandma! We come back the 15th of November and will be there until January. Ryan is just flying around to residency interviews right now and I would much rather take him to the airport in Utah a few times a week than take him here in New York - especially after the last one took 3 hours! Plus then we can have company while he's away. It seems the whole ward has taken note of my forthcoming absence and I've been doing hair like crazy here. I do it every night after I put Cash to bed at 7 - then whoever is here usually has to endure anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour of crying when he wakes up usually around 8 or so. Oh well, such is my life. We've been trying to sleep train him for the past 3 weeks, and overall it's definitely getting better, but there are still some painful nights! I must say it's extremely liberating to put him to bed and walk away - unlike the 8-10 times a night we were up for the month before! He still eats about twice in the middle of the night, but hey, I'll take it. Anyway, today I even did one woman's hair for a big celebrity ball she's going to down in New York City. I guess on of her husband's clients invited them. Her hair turned out fabulous. I feel pretty cool that my work will be displayed there along with all the other celebrity's stylists! It's funny who ends up getting their hair done in my living room though - one time a girl and I discovered both our maiden names were Hunsaker and we were the two Hunsaker's at BYU at the same time that were always getting confused with one another, and then last night I was doing another girl's hair and we realized she used to be in Mark and Jane's ward in Tokyo. Small world!

Happy Halloween!!!!!

Aren't we glad the Halloween festivities are over!!!!???!!!! Friday was the school carnival. Dawson was Darth Vader. Carter decided to be a pirate. He didn't last as long as Dawson at the carnival. When we returned home the first picture shows what we found. He was one warn out boy! Saturday was our ward party. Carter chose to be Spiderman with yellow hair. Tuesday we had the school choir program. Dawson is in the center of picture next to the other Darth Vader. Masks were not allowed. Then we rushed to Carter's preschool program. He was Spiderman and would not take off his mask for the life of him!!!! Just a little bit unsure of the whole performing thing. That night Dawson went trick or treating with friends and got loads of candy!!! Carter and I went around with friends. We ended up at Grandma's house and you can see that he chose to be a doctor. I guess it's lucky he is a younger brother and we have extra costumes sitting around. Hope this isn't a sign that he'll be like me and not able to make up his mind!!!! Now onto Thanksgiving! I am so thankful to be part of such a wonderful family!!!!

UPDATE with Pictures!!!!

Good morning! 6 AM here and this is my second day on this project! I have put 39 pictures on the blog for you to enjoy. I'm not that great at getting them in order when I upload and I can't seem to write by the pictures.

I am starting in May as Zac was preparing for his mission. You can see my boys in their pajamas as well as their ties. It was a big month with mission preparations! Day and Night! :) Also Carter graduated from his first year of preschool.

Included are also pictures of Weston & Stephanie and Alexis & Neal. Zac & Lacey, Lacey & Becky. Shauna, Zac, Katie & Lacey. Zac & Grandma. Hope it's okay I put these on guys!

During the summer we were able to enjoy many fun times together as a family as well as with the extended family! In the Duane Hunsaker family most of us were together this summer at one point or another. Ryan had an internship in Utah and so he and Jennie and Cash came out for the month of July. Jennie and Cash came back in Sept. and will be back in November! We are loving have a baby around! And Jen too.

Derek and Andrea and Lorelei come back to Utah frequently from WA. The boys loving having Lorelei around to play with. Jane and the boys came for the summer from Japan. As usual we saw Mark a few days here and there. Once again the boys love being with their cousins!!!!

We enjoyed a few outings with the Young cousins as well. On two different occassion we went to the Hogle zoo. The first one shown will be with Hugh and Sharon and Benjamin and Kayla Yancey! Also Kathryn and Nieve, and Eliza Young.

Later in the pictures you'll find another time with Kathryn, Linda, Derek, Julie, Alexis and children! Fun times!!!!! As well as more fun time at the Old Childrens Museum and now the Discovery Gateway! Great summer!!!!

Our family took a trip over Labor Day to New York. We have wanted to do that before Ryan finishes medical school. We finally went! Cory and I enjoyed the Musical "Wicked." Something we've been planning to do for years. So fun!!!!

I end with the most recent of the "cousins" continuing yet another generation with Jaydon Courtney and Cash Isom.

I'll try to do this a little more frequently now so I don't have such a huge project ahead of me. Hope you enjoy. It was a great summer! Loved seeing you all!!!
